Worldwar2 imperial Japanese navy pennant. This is a rare sailor hat pennant from the World War II era belonging to the Imperial Japanese Navy's Hosho Aircraft Carrier. These items were limited to the number of crew members, making them extremely scarce and valuable. However, this change wasn't well-received by the sailors. Hosho was the first aircraft carrier of the Imperial Japanese Navy and stands as the world's first purpose-built aircraft carrier.
