Back of the medal states "Kangde 7th Year, Manchukuo" (1940). Approximately 2.2 cm wide x 3.0 cm tall. This medal was awarded to individuals who contributed to the labor efforts during the construction and development of Manchukuo, a region in Northeast China under Japanese control from 1932 to 1945.
