Worldwar2 imperial Japanese navy postcards. Rare World War II Imperial Japanese Navy Memorabilia. Set of 2 postcards commemorating the launch of IJN Destroyer Shiranui.

Produced by Uraga Dock Company in 1938. Size: 14cm x 9cm (standard postcard size). Excellent condition, preserved in original envelope. Launched on June 28, 1938, and commissioned on December 20, 1939. Participated in major WWII operations including. Various escort and transport missions.

Sunk on October 27, 1944, during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. All crew members, including the captain and squadron commander, perished. World War II naval history.
