This is a complete set of four original WWII art books titled Holy War Art (Seisen Bijutsu), published by the Imperial Japanese Army Art Association in 1942. These large-format volumes feature vivid wartime paintings that glorify Japan's military campaigns across China and Southeast Asia.

Each book contains full-color illustrations depicting battles, warships, aircraft, infantry scenes, and victory parades - all created by prominent military artists such as Ryohei Koiso. These works were used as propaganda to inspire nationalism and support for the war. Marked as "Not for Sale" editions , they were issued by the Army's Intelligence Bureau and distributed only to military institutions and propaganda offices.

Few complete sets have survived, making this a rare opportunity for collectors of WWII military history, visual propaganda, or Japanese war-era art. A striking testament to how war was aestheticized and weaponized through imagery.
