Worldwar2 imperial japanese army badge. This is a rare World War II Imperial Japanese Army Type 1 Arisaka style martial arts skills badge, complete with its original storage box. The badge was established to boost morale and improve the skills of soldiers in bayonet fighting techniques using the Arisaka rifle.

It was awarded to soldiers who demonstrated exceptional proficiency in these techniques. The reverse side is inscribed in kanji with Type 1 Badge.

Type 1 is for non-commissioned officers, while Type 2 is for enlisted soldiers. Please note there are some scratches and stains due to age and long-term storage.
