Worldwar2 imperial japanese army bandolier. Used by Elite Parachute Units?? Holds 120 Rifle Rounds + Grenades??? Authentic WWII Japanese Army paratrooper ammunition bandolier. Adopted after the Palembang operation (1942).

Used by Takachino and Giretsu Airborne units. Modified from cavalry ammo belts for airborne operations. 6 pockets for rifle ammunition (20 rounds each, 120 total). 1 pocket for oil can. 1 pocket for hand grenades (Type 97 or 99).

Reinforced flaps and bottom for durability. Additional shoulder strap for parachute jumps.

Short sword (Type 2) holder equipped. Some age-related dirt and discoloration.

Slight material difference in left and right shoulder straps. Acquired from a collector about 40 years ago, along with a cavalry ammo belt and parachute outer cover.
