This instrument measured the current airspeed by the use of air pressure. It was located on the main instrument panel. Made of aluminum, this instrument is in NICE used condition!!
Removed from a downed Japanese aircraft by a US serviceman during the war, it still retains 90% of it's original finish! Features an mid-war Type 3 aluminum data plate, clearly stating the model, manufacture, production number. Dial still glows when UV light is applied, and still appears to be functional! Ihave indicated it's location in the last photos (Ki115, Ki-43, and Ki-67). Like most Japanese instruments, this gauge is VERY RARE and would be a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft Fw190, Me262, etc. , as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. Use is solely based on my authorization only. The item "WW2 Japanese Imperial Army Type 98 Airspeed Indicator Ki-43 Ki-100 Ki-61 LATE" is in sale since Saturday, January 25, 2020.
