With a neck and ear flaps to protect from the cold. Made of leather, canvas, and cotton, this dark brown-colored helmet is a VERY NICE used example! Some slight marks and wear from use, but fairly solid otherwise. It has a standard Japanese Army Star sewn onto the front of the horizontal band, and features openings on each side for the wearer's ears.

Each ear flap as 3 snaps, to attach the gosport headphones, and a leather strap secures under the chin for a tight fit. The interior of the leather flaps are lined in light khaki-colored cotton.

Some of the helmet's stitching is a bit loose, and internally, the securing string for the liner is missing, as well as one of the leather tabs (does not detract or affect function). All the leather and oil cloth components in the interior are still supple and exhibit only very light wear from use an age.

EXCELLENT markings and manufacture stamps! A PERFECT and VERY RARE addition to any collection or display! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft Fw190, Me262, etc. , as well as USAF and Japanese items.
