This sword embodies the noble idea of "Shichisei Houkokoku" (the Seven Lives and the Kingdom of the Seven Sages). Born in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture. Selected and joined Yasukuni Forging Association in 1936. He is an honorary Yasukuni swordsmith who studied under the masters Yasunori Yasunori, Yasumitsu, and Yasunori Ken. He is the leading master craftsman who produced the Kikusui sword at the Minatogawa Shrine dedicated to Masanari Kusunoki in Kobe.

After the war, he became an advisor to the All Japan Sword Artisans Association. The Order of the Sacred Treasure, 4th class, Medal with Blue Ribbon.
