Ww2 imperial Japanese navy uniform set. Offering a unique piece of WWII history - a full Type 1 uniform set of a Special Warrant Officer from the Imperial Japanese Navy. This set includes a short sword, Type 1 tunic, cloak, Golden Kite Medal, collar and sleeve insignia, and a navy trunk, all belonging to the same individual stationed at Sasebo.
The trunk, marked with an anchor, is approximately 55 cm in width, 35 cm in depth, 17 cm in height, and weighs about 5 kg. Please note, the metal fixture on the back of the trunk is broken.
The Type 1 tunic measures approximately: length 66 cm, shoulder width 41 cm, sleeve length (from shoulder) 55 cm, collar circumference 38 cm, and chest circumference 92 cm. Please be aware that due to storage, there may be signs of wear such as moth damage or stains. This authentic set offers a rare glimpse into the life and service of a Special Warrant Officer of the Japanese Navy during WWII.
