Ww2 imperial Japanese comfort bag. Up for grabs is an authentic morale bag from the World War II era used by the Imperial Japanese forces. A piece of history, the bag is adorned with Kanji characters saying'Morale Bag, Eternal Good Luck in War' and features a traditional Japanese castle design. This fabric bag, a military equipment item weighing 29g, served as a container for soldiers in the battlefield. Please note that due to its age, the item bears signs of wear and tear, with some stains and scratches present.

Such morale bags were eagerly anticipated by soldiers at war, as they were sent from families and organizations back home. They often contained hard-to-get items in the battlefront such as cigarettes, razor blades, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste, candles, vitamins, matches, paper and pencils, fans, dolls, canned food, needles and thread, and thousands of other items packed in fabric bags or box balls, easing the harsh realities of life on the frontlines.

As the war progressed, sending and distributing these goods became increasingly difficult due to stretched supply lines, prioritization of supplies, and increasing enemy control of sea and air routes.
