World War II Imperial Japanese Army Seikosha Type 1 Model B Artillery Stopwatch

  
Up for sale is this rare, functional Seikosha Type 1 Artillery Stopwatch used by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. With its traditional manual winding mechanism, it features a chronograph function that has been verified to be in working order. The dial shows signs of aging, and the stainless steel case has minor scratches consistent with use (please see pictures). Although the stopwatch's basic operations have been confirmed, its accuracy has not been tested.

The back of the watch is inscribed in kanji:'Second watch, type 1, artillery, no. It's believed to have been used to measure the time from firing to impact.

The case is approximately 5 cm wide (excluding the crown). Please note there are no additional accessories included; the pictures represent what you will receive.
