These swords are the swords featured in the book so I will not sell them individually for they have been together for a very long time. These Japanese manufactured Type 8 army riding sword for NCOs and soldiers. #400 (the sword with dark handle) and imported Clemen & Jung M-1852 sword #1104 (the one with silver handle). The length of the ricassos is the only notable difference. Of the seven Japanese manufactured Type 8 army riding swords for NCOs and soldiers known to the author, (see "Swords of Imperial Japan 1868 -1945" Cyclopedia edition by Jim Dawson, page 27) the #400 (the sword with dark handle) is the only one that does not bear the Tokyo Artillery Arsenal name and year of production.
