The original interior cloth label remains intact and even has the small paper label affixed at the side. The label among other data has the issue date of 1944. The exterior rear has the correct and beautiful condition green cloth tag that is without applied ink kanji indicating this is un-named and therefore un-issued which accounts for the superb condition.
All ties are all there and in superb condition. I obtained this superlative example from a respected historian and author many years ago and have never found a better example. I have shown these in the closeup images. There is a tiny small finger nail size puncture at the bottom inside, it looks superficial and there is no loss to the inside material. On the outside front is a small area with a little white film on it; I never tried to remove it as I believe in leaving things as found but it could probably be cleaned off.Photos taken in natural sunlight without enhancement.
