The hanging loop remains at the neck interior. The tropical side vents with pockets remain on the flanks.
Nice interior Army production stamp, size medium. This museum quality example retains the small paper label (almost always missing on Japanese tunics) and a faint character may be seen on the label. Mike Hewitt on page 71 and 85 of Uniforms and Equipment of the Imperial Japanese Army in World War II depicts this scarce model tunic.
It is also well illustrated in Agustin Saiz book HEITAI pages 86-87. Complete and in near mint condition that would be impossible to upgrade. This item is from my personal collection of many years. Other items will be listed over the coming weeks. Photos taken in natural sunlight without enhancement.
