Original WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Combat Boots " HENJOKA " Model M-5 (1930) Exceptional Condition. These are the classic issue combat boots for the Japanese soldier in exceptional near mint condition except for some minor blemishes or scuffing from storage wear. The appear to be unused or if used very lightly so and are the finest condition I have encountered.
The quality of the stamping on the soles is remarkable. The metal hobnails are present and excellent. The laces are complete and excellent. They would be impossible to upgrade. The last two images shows the same boots on a correctly outfitted mannequin; the mannequin and other clothing and gear are not included in this lot -- just the pair of boots.Mike Hewitt pages 96 to 101 in Uniforms and Equipment of the Imperial Japanese Army in World War II.
