ORIGINAL WW2 IMPERIAL JAPANESE ARMY TYPE 90 HELMET IJA STAR. This one is all original. Stored probably in a garage near the coast of CA as I got it out of Goleta CA.... Leather is in good shape as is the straps which are uncut. Comes from a non smoking home and from a long time helmet collection which dates back to the 1970's. Helmet does not stink like cat pee or cigarettes...

That may sound weird but as a long time collector I could tell you stories.... Note: The leather liner on both sides, right and left are held in by wire and not a metal O ring. The original metal O rings appear to be missing and replaced by wire loops. This is an old time repair in my opinion.
