Back of case has a serial number that is difficult to read. Watch was not working when I acquired it, but Sam's Watch Repair in Chattanooga was able to repair and service the original factory movement. However setting the time is still not easy, as I have to pull out the stem and hit just the right spot to be able to set the time.
Watch runs well and keeps reasonably good time. This watch was given to a friend of mine as a boy in the 1940s, and he wore it until it stopped running.
