Imperial Japan Navy WW2 Officer's Mess Formal Serving Fork Utensil Silverware Anchor Blossom Logo. This 9.5 inch piece has an ivory or bone colored handle which has a crack going down a large portion of one side. The band transitioning from the handle to the fork tines is adorned with comma shapes. It was found in an Arizona antique store as part of a larger collection of serving utensils with similar handles, however, this piece's Hallmark did not match any of the others and instead came from the IJN.
The details of its journey from Japan to that mismatched collections are entirely unclear.
