This is a rafter cloth of the Japanese Army. It is from the time of the war. The design is thought to be a private item (or manufactured or procured within the unit) rather than a common government-issued item.

I have never seen this one. It is a single piece of wool cloth with no cutouts, and fastens with a snap button. There are some insect holes in the cloth.
