WW2 Imperial Japanese Shin Gunto Officers Samurai Sword Koto'Nihonto' Katana - 16th Century Blade & Family Tsuba - Wonderful Original Antique, some battle damage is present to the cutting edge of the blade, there is slight blunting to the tip. The fitting set is slightly loose but I suspect that is because the peg is small or it needs a spacer. The leather retaining strap loop has detached and is no longer present. The sword is not in polish but is a fantastic addition to any advanced WWII or Japanese Sword Collection. Tons of reproductions on the market today... Why take a chance when you can own a guaranteed authentic 16th C.
Made blade in WW2 fittings with the original Tsuba, even exhibiting some of the original gold finish, and genuinely brought back from World War II.
