WWII Imperial Japanese Army Officer's Heat Protection Hat Free Shiipping. This is a heat-resistant officer's cap from the Japanese Army. It is a so-called tropical helmet, not a combat type, and was used by senior officers such as officers attached to headquarters. At the front, the same type was often used for junior officers or a diverted version.

The core is made of cork covered with dark green cotton cloth and has a metal front patch for officers. The liner is a dark green thin cotton cloth, and the head is covered with a leather inner skin with a pad to prevent the head from hitting the cork. There is an air hole on the top of the head and two air holes on the left and right sides to prevent air from entering.

There is a rabbit mark on the top of the head, a tropical helmet, and a hairrow hat with an extra quarter on the inside. There are gold foil stamped letters on the inner skin. The size 21 1/4 is written on the back. Is written on the back. Probably ordered in the occupied territories.
