A WW2 Imperial Japanese navy officers tropical sun / pith helmet. The tan khaki covered cork helmet has an early IJN copper badge fixed to its front. Either side of the helmet are 2 ventilation holes along with the top ventilation cap.
The helmet has its original liner / sweatband and the manufacturers mark Taico Quality made in Japan. The inside of the helmet has another mark which reads Tropical Helmet and a size 7.
