The ear cups are sewn-on leather pockets, designed to fit the Gosport receiver, and the reverse features a leather strap to retain the pilot goggles. Internally, it features BOTH of the manufacture labels, which is quite rare. The metal fittings do feature a bit of corrosion (those can be cleaned if one wished), and there is a slight 0.5 tear in the leather at the top (see photo), but otherwise it is VERY SOLID!
The AMAZING feature is that it still retains the original Japanese Gosport Headphones and plug! According to famed historical and author, Gary Nila, this specific helmet was ONLY used in Jet Fighters, based not only on the design of the helmet, but also the radio plug connections.
