Museum Quality MINT Unissued Original WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Tropical Long Pants nicely MARKED. The distinctive thin light all cotton Japanese Army tropical long pants with the waist tie straps still attached. These are a nice green color with matching color waist tie belt.

The large production stamp on the interior is outstanding and includes the symbol for medium size and Showa year 20 for 1945. This is the finest example I have ever seen and would be impossible to upgrade. The tiny white label with red stamps is still present and intact and these are rarely seen. The pants have some wrinkles from folding and storage. Mike Hewitt on pages 188 and 196 in Uniforms and Equipment of the Imperial Japanese Army in World War IIpages 188, 192 depicts these pants. They also illustrated on page 96 in Agustin Saiz book HEITAI pages 97-98. These were extensively worn in the Pacific theater BUT ARE VERY HARD TO FIND TODAY being much scarcer than the full length thin construction tropical pants and are a MUST for any WW2 collection of the Pacific War. It took me many years of collecting to finally find this pair!
