This is an original type 98 uniform tunic for Imperial Japanese Army officer in WW2. The listing includes the infantry breast insignia, collar tabs of army lieutenant colonel and buttons.

There is no moth nip or hole on entire tunic. The inner collar is exceptionally clean. The collar hooks and loops are rustless. There are some minor stains and one loose yarn on the lining shown in pictures.

This tunic is considered large size for average build of IJA officers in WW2, which is rare and highly collectible. Neck: 42cm, or 16.5. Collar height at center back: 5cm, or 2.

Shoulder width: 45cm, or 17-3/4. Length at center back: 67cm, or 26-3/8. Chest at armpits: 102cm, or 40-1/8. Sleeve from shoulder seam: 58cm, 22-3/4.
