This Item is WW2 japanese navy sword. Please check Condition by photos. This sword is from around 1945. A special book is shown in the photo. The peg "mekugi nail" is exactly the same as the 1916 naval officer's dagger.
Navy daggers were used as command swords that could not be cut. I can't cut this sword either. However, after the war, there is an example of finishing a sword that can be forged and cut.
