Usually worn around the neck by flight personnel responsible for Navigation, Flight Coordination and Attack Coordination (torpedo and bombing runs), this Seikosha Pocket Watch is in EXCELLENT functioning condition! It features a 12/24 hour display with 30 second timer, and runs for approx. Made by Seikosha, it features 15 jewels, a Bi-metal movement with Breguet spiral, and a nickel/chrome-plated housing.Chain or strap made of parachute cord allowed the watch to be worn around the neck. The kanji on the back of the case indicates. Second Timer Type 1 Class 2. Indicating use in a Submarine or Torpedo Boat. Manufactured between 1939 and 1945, the internal lids also features some stamps and markings. Some scratches and marks due to the age, but otherwise SUPERB! It is 100% functional, but I would recommend having it cleaned and lubricated. Like most Japanese items, it is a VERY RARE item, perfect for any collection, or display! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft Fw190, Me262, etc.
, as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. Use is solely based on my authorization only.
