ORIGINAL WWII IMPERIAL JAPANESE ARMY GENERAL'S DRESS/PARADE SWORD. SWORD IS IN EXCELLENT+++ CONDITION. THE SWORD HAS A TORTOISE SHELL GRIP WITH ALL THREE WIRE WRAPS INTACT, AND THE CHROME-PLATED BLADE HAS A FAUX TEMPER LINE. THE SCABBARD HAS ALL OF ITS NICKEL PLATING AND THERE IS ONLY ONE VERY SMALL DENT (SEE PICTURE #5). TOTAL LENGTH OF THE SWORD IN THE SCABBARD IS APPROXIMATELY 36 INCHES, AND THE EXPOSED BLADE IS ALMOST 30 INCHES.
